Call for Interns

Global Ties Sacramento is currently accepting applications for Spring 2024 internships.

Embrace this opportunity to cultivate cross-cultural communication and diplomacy skills, while refining written and oral communication, research, and analytical abilities. Become a member of our team and contribute to the success of international delegation visits. Among other tasks, you may help draft proposals, maintain communication logs, and curate social media content.

Our work revolves around citizen diplomacy and human connection, providing opportunities for global dialogue, relationship-building, and creating a more peaceful world. Each year, we connect over 400 international leaders with local leaders in the Sacramento region to exchange knowledge, promote cultural fluency, and empower citizen diplomats to positively influence foreign policy. Interns help us support the local infrastructure for U.S. public diplomacy efforts and deepen relationships within the community and across the globe.

Positions available:

  • Diplomacy & International Exchange Intern
  • Social Media Intern

Global Ties Sacramento is currently offering hybrid remote internships, but some opportunities will require the ability to commute to and from the Sacramento area.

We will review applications for spring internships on a rolling basis.
