Intern Spotlight: Valentina Suarez

Valentina Suarez, an International Relations major with a minor in Political Science currently attending Sacramento State, is the newest Diplomacy and Communications Intern to join the Global Ties Sacramento team in 2024.

Valentina is from Colombia, and she is passionate about addressing social injustices and advocating for human rights. She aspires to represent her nation on the global stage, and she is currently preparing for her first National Model United Nations conference in March!

While working with Global Ties Sacramento, Valentina looks forward to learning more about international diplomacy and establishing connections with professionals from around the world.
